Why Work with a Breath Coach?

The breath is a powerful tool we all have at our disposal which can greatly enhance our health, mood and well-being. And yet because it’s an unconscious process, many of us are not making the most of it.

A Breath Coach helps you to breathe better by teaching you techniques that encourage you to breathe more consciously and efficiently.

As the body/mind connector, the breath has a profound effect on our nervous system, which means we can use it to soothe away stress and anxiety, or to energise ourselves.

Private 1-1 sessions

Sessions in real life, or online

As a qualified Pranayama Teacher, I offer breath-work sessions in person, in Gower, South Wales, where I’m based - or online via Zoom.

Breath coaching works well online, as most of the session takes place seated, close to the camera. I am led by you. After discussing your needs and goals, we’ll build a programme of practices tailored personally for you.

The first session will last 1 hour, subsequent sessions can be shorter (45 or 30 mins to suit). My online rates are £50 for 1 hour, £40 for 45 mins, and £30 for 30 mins.

Courses

Breathe Better: 4 week Course

Mostly experiential with some theory, covering:

  • The role of diaphragm, and diaphragmatic breathing

  • Stretching the muscle groups involved in breathing

  • Nose breathing vs mouth breathing

  • Various useful breathing techniques including Brahmari (Humming Bee Breath), Golden Thread Breath, Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing), and 6-count Breath
